CURRICULUM VITAE

The fashion industry and its mysterious, constantly changing, frequently rugged and though world has been a part of my life since childhood. My mother is a leather designer working in the same field I have chosen to pursue. My decision to join this industry was influenced by a very real picture and not by an illusion presented magazines and movies. I am familiar with the difficulties as well as the joys of working in this field.

The intention to choose this profession and the power to do my best in order to achieve my aim was becoming forceful during my high school years. Before that I was in love with ballet dancing and despite of my young age I was totally determined to make my dream come true. In my opinion we are often following completely different dreams but nothing happens by chance. Even the smallest decisions have their purpose. After many years of hard work I can say that I have learnt a lot from the art of dance, even though it was not my destiny. It taught me to be persistant, obsequious and to be able to mediate my feelings to the audience by using a tool either if it is my body while I am dancing or the deign identity that I represent.

During the years at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest,  I aquired profound professional knowledge and I got acquainted with several fellow students and professors who had a great influence on my approach to design.Besides the advantages of university education there were some deficiencies as well. Unfortunately the Bachelor's Degree did not provide enough knowledge in business and opportunities to cooperate and work in a team however in my opinion it is very important.

Therefore, due to my curious, purposeful attitude and the disadvantages of the university I decided to study further in abroad, accurately in Denmark. For me, Scandinavian design is a defining approach in the current cultural climate and it has a huge impact on my design attitude as well.

The most crucial features for me which charactarize my attitude toward art and I would underline here in the begining are, critical approach, humanity, the observation of the self and the world around us, the definition of our goals and persistence. In addition to that I find conscious thinking in the design process essential, i.e. to define a concept to create objects which have a starting point and aimed to be created. I prefer to find answers to such questions by which innovative and individual products can be made. As an example of that, I would like to refer back to one of my previous project, that you can find in my portfolio, called ’’POINTILISM'’. The clothes which we wear influence not only us but also our environment. In this project this knitted pointilist dress launches intricate psycholgical processes in the brain. Summing it up, in my future work I would like to create as many items as possible, which have a meaning not only at the visual level but reflect  certain problems and provide solutions to them.

My life is genuinely centered around revival, I am not afraid of changes and I would like to get to know as many different cultures and perspectives as possible to widen my approach and find new inspirations.
